Abandoned new-born babies | Residents find baby dumped near park in Al-Raqqah
Al-Raqqah province: Residents have found a new-born baby, who was abandoned by his parents, dumped near Al-Rasheed park in Al-Raqqah city.
This comes in light of security chaos and escalation of phenomenon of abandoning new-born babies in Syria.
According to SOHR statistics, this is the 40th case of abandoned new-born babies since early 2022 with 22 cases documented in regime-controlled areas and 18 documented in SDF-controlled areas.
