Abandoning newborns | Residents find newborn baby in front of a house in Homs

Homs province: Residents have found a new-born baby, who aged a day and was abandoned by his parents, dumped in front of a house near “Al-Raees” roundabout in Akramah neighbourhood in the centre of Homs.

The infant was handed to Bab Al-Sebaa police station and then taken to Al-Basel specialist hospital in Karm Al-Lawz.

 

This comes in light of security chaos and escalation of phenomenon of abandoning new-born babies in Syria.
