Demanding lifting sanctions and siege imposed on Syria | Tribal protest staged in the security zone in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: Dozens of “Sadat Al-Muaamerah” tribesmen staged a protest in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the “Red Cross” in the security zone in Al-Hasakah city, demanding the lifting of sanctions and siege imposed on Syria.

The living and economic situations are witnessing considerable deterioration, particularly after sanctions that have almost completely paralyzed economy and other movements.

On February 20, SOHR reported that dozens of civilians staged a protest in front of the building of the cultural centre in Al-Qamishly city north Al-Hasakah, where the protesters demanded the lifting of economic sanctions imposed on the regime, and the finishing of what they described as “the two American and Turkish occupations of Syrian land.”
