Growing tension | Clashes erupt among Turkish-backed factions near routes used for smu*ggling in rural Al-Bab
Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that clashes erupted between “Ahrar Shamar” Brigade, which is affiliated to “Al-Hamza Division,” and gunmen of the “3rd Corps” near Al-Amiyyah village in Al-Bab countryside in eastern Aleppo in “Euphrates Shield” area.
The clashes, which followed a dispute over unknown reason, left a member of “Ahrar Shamar” Brigade injured, while militiamen surrounded the village. Meanwhile, clashes are underway, amid growing tension and a state of panic among the village’s residents.
It is worth noting that Al-Amiyyah village has experienced frequent smuggling operations towards SDF-controlled areas, under supervision of the factions dominating the village.
