Having failed to pay debt | Civilian hangs himself to death in Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani)

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that a man in his forties hanged himself to death in his house in Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo, as he failed to pay his debt which reached 4,000 USD, according to local sources.

 

The man worked as a guard in a school in the city.

 

Most of Syrians are struggling with dire living conditions due to the economic hardship and the ongoing freefall of the Syrian lira against the US dollar.
