Sent by Dagestan | Humanitarian aid convoy arrives in regime-controlled areas in Latakia

Latakia province: SOHR sources have reported that a humanitarian aid convoy sent today by Dagestan, in coordination with the “Russian reconciliation centre,” to Syrians affected by the earthquake. The convoy, which comprised trucks carrying five tons of cloths and food, arrived in the resettlement centre in the “sports city” in Latakia.

Since the latest violent earthquake hit Syria on February 6, nearly 1,350 trucks carrying humanitarian assistance crossed into regime-controlled areas; they are distributed as follows:

  • 1,300 trucks crossed through Al-Bokamal crossing.

  • 44 trucks crossed through Nasib crossing.

The remaining trucks crossed into Syria from Lebanon. In addition, an Egyptian ship arrived in Latakia harbour.
