Comprising seven trucks | Jordanian humanitarian aid convoy arrive in Syria

A new humanitarian aid convoy, sent by Jordan, crossed into Syrian territory today through Nasib border crossing, heading to disaster-stricken areas. The convoy comprised seven trucks carrying food and medical supplies which have been delivered to UN bodies through the Syrian Red Crescent.

SOHR sources have just reported that a humanitarian aid convoy sent today by Dagestan, in coordination with the “Russian reconciliation centre,” to Syrians affected by the earthquake. The convoy, which comprised trucks carrying five tons of cloths and food, arrived in the resettlement centre in the “sports city” in Latakia.

Since the latest violent earthquake hit Syria on February 6, nearly 1,357 trucks carrying humanitarian assistance crossed into regime-controlled areas; they are distributed as follows:

  • 1,300 trucks crossed through Al-Bokamal crossing.

  • 51 trucks crossed through Nasib crossing.

The remaining trucks crossed into Syria from Lebanon. In addition, an Egyptian ship arrived in Latakia harbour.
