Earthquake consequences | Cracked building’s wall collapse ki*lls civilian in Idlib city

Idlib province: A civilian died today after a wall fell from a building, cracked due to the devastating earthquake, near Hanano school in Idlib city north-western of Syria.

 

Hundreds of families in Idlib city and countryside suffer from cracks in their houses after the disaster of the devastating earthquake which hit Syria on February 6, amid fear of the collapse of buildings and houses due to ongoing aftershocks.

 

On March 4, SOHR reported that the number of Syrian people killed due to the earthquake in Syria has reached 6,795. The fatalities are distributed as follows:

 

  • 2,248 people in regime-controlled areas, five of whom were killed in the latest violent aftershock.

 

  • 4,547 people in areas controlled by the “Salvation Government” and the “Syrian Interim Government.”

 

In addition, thousands of people were injured, including hundreds in critical conditions.
