Fourth consecutive day | Regime forces prevent passage of convoy from Kurdistan-Iraq region into Aleppo

The Autonomous Administration has issued a statement regarding the authorities of the regime preventing the passage of relief materials from Al-Solaimaniya city in Kurdistan-Iraq region towards areas affected in Aleppo through Al-Tayha crossing in Manbij city in Aleppo countryside, separating between SDF-held areas and regime-held areas. The statement was as follows:
“Today, we are in Al-Tayha crossing between areas of northern and eastern of Syria and areas held by Damascus government, and we are present with the convoy of aids that entered north eastern of Syria from Al-Solaimaniya area in Kurdistan-Iraq region that entered the area on March 6. However, unfortunately the convoy is prevented from entering to affected areas four days after it reached the crossing, which proves that Damascus government does not care for the conditions of the residents affected by the earthquake, who are desperately in need of help.”

On March 8, the third convoy carrying humanitarian aids from Al-Raqqa reached those affected by the earthquake in north western of Syria as part of the “Here Syria” campaign, where the convoy comprised ten trucks carrying relief materials and reached Awn Al-Dadat crossing separating between areas of the Military Manbij Council and areas of the Turkish-backed factions.
