Ongoing violations | “Al-Hamzah Division” militiamen fell trees in Jendires

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that militiamen of the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamza Division” felled tens of olive trees belonging to two civilians from Ghawraqa village, near the agriculture airfield in Jendires district in Afrin countryside, to sell them as fire logs.

It is worth noting that Turkish-backed factions continue their violations against the residents of north Aleppo countryside, including felling of trees, selling and seizing houses and farmlands by force.

On March 5, SOHR sources reported that members of “Al-Sultan Murad” faction felled nearly 170 olive trees in Deikiyah village in Rajo district and Qartalaq village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo.

On the other hand, members of “Al-Sham Corps” and “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah” felled nearly 125 olive trees in Sheikh Balo village in Rajo district and Basofan village in Shirawa district for selling them as fire logs.
