Hours after SOHR reports about bringing in advanced weapons | Iranian-backed militias replace local members with foreigners in Deir Ezzor and Aleppo

SOHR sources have reported that Iranian-backed militias, led by Lebanese Hezbollah and IRGC, have withdrawn earlier today a number of their members, who are from Hatlah town, Al-Mayadeen, Al-Bokamal and Homs and were deployed in military posts in Ain Ali areas in Al-Mayadeen, Al-Rahbah, the border Al-Bokamal city with Iraq and positions in the outskirts of Aleppo city.

According to sources, about 32 members were taken to the Iran-backed militias’ headquarters without warning and replaced with foreign members.

This comes in light of the militias’ distrust in the local members and their suspicions that these members may provide information about the militias’ movement. This also comes after SOHR has disclosed details, in two reports, on the exploitation of the earthquake disaster by the Iranian-backed militias to bring in weapons and steal aid.
