Boosting its bases | International Coalition brings in new reinforcement to Al-Hasakah countryside
Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that International Coalition Forces have brought in a new military column from Kurdistan Region of Iraq to north-east Syria, via Al-Walid border crossing, in order to boost their bases in the region.
According to SOHR, the column, which headed to the Coalition bases in Al-Hasakah countryside, comprised 24 trucks, including fuel trucks and trucks carrying big closed boxes, ammunitions and logistical supplies.
Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that International Coalition Forces ran a military patrol of five vehicles escorted by an SDF vehicle, where the patrol set off from Al-Omar oil field in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and crossed Al-Bareed crossing on the bank of Euphrates river, heading to Al-Hawayij town, before returning to the starting point.
The patrol came a few hours after the attack by gunmen on guards of the Coalition’s largest base in Syria.
