Al-Rukban camp | Heavy rain puts residents in danger of houses collapsing over them

Heavy rain hit Al-Rukban (forgotten) camp at borders between Syria, Iraq and Jordan, where water from the rain formed lakes of water inside the camp.

According to reliable SOHR sources in Al-Rukban camp, the houses inhabited by displaced people are almost collapsed and old as they were built by primary materials “mud” and are affected by weather conditions such as heavy rain and wind, putting residents of the camp in constant fear of rain and storms.

Residents of Al-Rukban camp suffer tragic conditions due to the harsh living conditions and the siege imposed by regime forces.
