Death toll update | 14 people kil*led in two att*acks by H*T*S on regime positions within “Putin-Erdogan” area

Two regime soldiers were killed and a member of Luwaa Uthman Ibn Affan was injured in a sneak attack by Luwaa Uthman Ibn Affan of HTS on regime positions on Nahshaba frontline in northern Lattakia countryside.

A few hours ago, special Forces of “Luwaa Uthman Ibn Affan” of HTS carried out a sneak attack on Nahshaba frontline in northern Lattakia countryside within “Putin-Erdogan” area, where violent clashes erupted between members of “HTS” and regime forces. However, no casualties were reported.

Earlier today, SOHR activists documented the death of five regime soldiers and injury of six others in the infiltration operation which was carried out yesterday evening by “Liwaa Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq,” which operates under the banner of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, on regime positions on Al-Fataterah frontline in the southern countryside of Idlib. The number of fatalities is expected to rise further because of the serious injuries of some soldiers.

Since early 2023, SOHR has documented 53 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 112 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 60 combatants and 12 civilians, including children and two women, injured.
The fatalities can be distributed as follows:
• Five civilians were killed by regime forces.
• 79 members of regime forces, including six officers.
• 25 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, including a French jihadist.
• Two members of the jihadist faction of “Ansar Al-Tawheed.
• One member of “Ahrar Al-Sham” movement.
