“Involving in drug business” | “Anti-Narcotics” branch arrests member of “NDF” in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that members of “Anti-Narcotics” branch of the regime arrested a member of “National Defence Forces” in Deir Ezzor city for “involving in drug business.”

According to sources, the branch’s members raided the NDF member’s house in Deir Ezzor city, where a fistfight erupted between him and the members, before they arrest him.

It is noted that many members of “National Defence Forces” involve in drug business, in addition to robberies and other abuses within areas under their control in Deir Ezzor province and others.

On February 1, SOHR reported that members of a patrol of the regime’s Military Intelligence arrested two young men from Maarat Saidaniyah town, while they were robbing a house near Al-Nor mosque in Talfita town in western Al-Qalmon countryside, where they were later released for belonging to the National Defence operating in the town.
