Al-Hasakah countryside | Unidentified people attack checkpoint of Internal Security Forces “Asayish”

Al-Hasakah province: A military checkpoint of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” was attacked with machine guns earlier today, in Salmiyah on the road between Al-Qahtaniyah, Jazaah and Al-Hawl in Al-Hasakah countryside. No causalities were reported.

 

According to SOHR sources, the area is considered semi-desert, close to the Iraqi border, controlled by “Al-Sanadid” faction of “SDF” and has a military road which is used by military forces, where the Internal Security Forces have set up a checkpoint recently.

 

Yesterday, SOHR reported that a member of Syrian Democratic Forces from Al-Sa’wa town in Deir Ezzor countryside was shot dead by gunmen, believed to be of ISIS cells, in Abu Khashab town in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
