War remnants | Landmine explosion kills young man in Minbij countryside east of Aleppo

Aleppo province: A young man was killed due to the explosion of an old landmine planted earlier by the military formations, in Aousajli village in Minbij countryside east of Aleppo, within SDF-held areas.
Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 151 civilians, including nine women and 33 children, due to explosions of old landmines, unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2023. In addition, over 185 civilians, including 49 children and four women, sustained various injuries.
The casualties are distributed regionally as follows:
• Areas controlled by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and opposition factions in Idlib: Three fatalities; including a child, and five injured civilians, including three children.
• Regime-controlled areas: 138 fatalities, including 24 children and nine women, and 157 injured civilians, including 29 children and three women. There are 80 truffle pickers died, including two children and six women, and 104 others injured.
• “Euphrates Shield” area in east Aleppo countryside: Three fatality, three children, and ten injured people: a woman and nine children.
• SDF-held areas: Six fatalities, including four children, and 12 injured civilians, including seven children. There is a little truffle picker among the injured people.
• “Peace Spring” area in north Al-Raqqah countryside: A child was killed and another was injured.
