Noticeable escalation in “de-escalation zone” | Four regime soldiers killed in hours and regime forces shell positions in nearly 15 towns and villages
Military escalation continues in the “de-escalation zone” between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and regime forces through exchange of attacks and bombardment, gunfire by snipers and infiltration attempt. In addition, regime forces bombard positions in different towns and villages on a daily basis, mainly in Idlib, Aleppo and Hama countryside.
In this context, the “de-escalation zone” experienced noticeable escalation in the past few hours, where four regime soldiers were killed on different frontlines in the region. Here are further details:
- A regime soldier was shot dead by members of “Ansar Al-Tawhed” faction on the frontline of Al-Malaja village in southern Idlib countryside.
- A regime soldier was killed on frontline of Orm Al-Kobra in Aleppo countryside, where HTS targeted a dash and a machinegun with “SPG-9” shells, destroying them and killing a regime soldier.
- Two regime soldiers were killed by snipers of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room on the frontlines of Al-Brij and Al-Fataterah in the southern countryside of Idlib.
Furthermore, regime forces shelled positions in many towns and villages in “Putin-Erdogan” area in the past few hours, they are as follows:
- Idlib countryside: the surrounding areas of Al-Fterah, Maarrat Alya, Al-Nayrab, Saan, Majdaliya and Maarbalet.
- Hama countryside: Al-Sarmaniyah, Duwayr Al-Akrad, Al-Ziyyarah and Al-Ankawy in Sahl Al-Ghab area.
- Aleppo countryside: Kafr Taal and Kafr Ammah frontlines in the western countryside.
Yesterday, regime forces fired artillery shells on the surrounding areas of Kafr Taal and Kafr Ammah village in the western countryside of Aleppo and positions in Al-Fterah town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. However, no casualties were reported.
Meanwhile, HTS fired mortar shells on positions of the regime on the frontline of Al-Jarada in southern Idlib countryside.
