Demanding the US to exit Syria | Regime’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns “stealing Syrian oil”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns the US acts, descriping them as “stealing Syria’s oil and goods” through the Iraqi north to Turkey.

The ministry said in a statement: “The American occupation forces continued during the past weeks to plunder oil and other Syrian wealth, through northern Iraq to Turkey, and these American actions, which are characterized by banditry, contradict international humanitarian law and lead to the impoverishment of the Syrian people and prolong their suffering… Syria condemns these actions and demands The American administration to stop it and pay compensation to the Syrian people, because the United States should not play the role of pirates and bandits.”

Moreover, the ministry demanded the US to stop supporting SDF and to exit Syrian territory.

The International Coalition forces are deployed in several positions, largest of which is Al-Omar oil field in Deir Ezzor countryside, where these bases are used as a centre to launch security operations against ISIS.

Areas in north eastern of Syria, which are held by the Autonomous Administration, hold several oil and gas fields and represent a large percentage of power source in Syria, including Al-Omar, Koniko, Al-Ward, Al-Tank, Ghalban, Kory, Jarnof, Afra, Arzak, Shoaitat and Qahar.

The International Coalition forces are stationed in military bases in Al-Omar, Koniko, Al-Tank, Al-Ruwaishad, Baghor Fokany, Ramilan, Robar Airport in Al-Malkiya (Derek), Tel Baidar, Haimos, Live Stone, Qasrak, Al-Madina Al-Riyadiya near Ghuwarian in Al-Hasakah and Al-Shadady bases.
