Surprising move | Turkish forces evacuate internal positions in Idlib countryside

Idlib province: SOHR activists have reported that the Turkish forces stationed at the frontlines in Idlib countryside withdrew from the frontlines to return the properties of the civilians after taking control over the positions in 2020, where the forces evacuated several checkpoints starting from Ma’arat Al-Na’asan town and until the vicinity of Saraqeb city in eastern Idlib countryside.

The forces advanced into the frontlines and stationed in new positions to reinforce frontlines with the regime forces, where a large number of the forces withdrew towards Taftanaz Military Airport and the advanced checkpoints near Al-Talhiya village.

The Turkish forces aim to completely evacuate the internal checkpoints during the following days.

It is worth noting that the Turkish forces are stationed in several positions in eastern Idlib countryside, Taftanaz Airport, Afes, Majares, Al-Salihiya, Binsh, Tel Sandal, Sarmin, Ma’arat Alya, Al-Nairab, Majdalya, Ma’arablit, Kadora, Al-Mastoma, Nahliya, Jabal Al-Arba’en, Al-Ruwaiha, Binin Shinan, Tel Al-Naby Ayob, Kansafra, Al-Bara, Balyon, Qawkafin, Ma’arata, Sighatha, Eshtabrak, Farika, Al-Kafir, Janat Al-Qora, Ain Al-Baida and Al-Najiya, Qaston, Khirbat Al-Naqos and Al-Qarkor in western Hama countryside, Telal Al-Kabina, Tel Al-Hadada and Al-Zaitona in Lattakia countryside.
