To submit high school certificate exams | Members of “4th Division” impose royalties on students to cross to Deir Ezzor city

Deir Ezzor province: Members of the “4th Division” continue to exploit civilians in Deir Ezzor, especially in imposing royalties on anyone crosses the river crossings between SDF-held areas and areas held by regime forces and Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor countryside.
On the same context, SOHR sources reported that a large number of high school students crossed the river crossings towards Deir Ezzor city, to submit high school certificate, while members of checkpoints of the “4th Division” imposed sums of money of more than 10.000 SYP on each student, to cross the checkpoints.
Students who cross regime checkpoints are being subjected to accountability and harassment, especially those who are wanted for striking the settlement process with the regime, in addition to the raids targeting students after submitting exams and arbitrary arresting them under weak charges and arguments, amid a state of upset among the students as a result of these practices.
