Searching for ISIS cells and drug dealers | SDF and Asayish Forces launce security campaign in western Deir Ezzor, arresting 13

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that special security units of Syrian Democratic Forces and Internal Security Forces (Asayish) launched a joint security campaign this morning in Al-Jazarah and Qusaybah villages and Al-Jarzat camp in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor. The security forces cordoned off the area and blocked all main and side streets, amid heavy deployment of security troops which were searching for members of ISIS cells, drug dealers and gunmen.

The campaign has led to the arrest of 13 drug dealers and individuals belonging to ISIS cells and confiscation of their weapons. The arrested people have been taken to an SDF security centre.
