Military escalation | “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” factions fire rockets on positions in Hama’s Sahil Al-Ghab, injuring two civilians

SOHR sources have reported that two civilians were injured by shrapnel of rockets fired by “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room targeting Joureen town in Sahil Al-Ghab in north-western of Hama within “Putin-Erdogan” area. The injured people were taken to the hospital to receive proper medication.


It is noted that “Putin-Erdogan” area has witnessed dramatic escalation since June 21 whether through ground bombardment or Russian airstrikes on one hand, and attacks by the factions and on the other.


SOHR has documented the death of six civilians and injury of nine others in aerial and ground attacks by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and opposition factions on the “de-escalation zone since June 21; the fatalities are distributed as follows:


  • A little girl was killed in bombardment on Hama countryside.


  • Four civilians: two children and two women, were killed in drone attacks on Hama countryside.


  • A man was killed in an attack by an armed drone on Al-Qardaha in Latakia countryside.
