Israeli strikes | Nine killed and injured persons most of them are from Iranian militias in 19th attack

A member of IRGC was killed and four other members of non-Syrian nationality were injured in the Israeli targeting in the early hours of today, which targeted an ammunition warehouse, that it is not known what kind of weapons are inside, in the vicinity of Al-Nejmah village on the north-eastern outskirts of Homs city, where violent explosions were heard in several areas in Homs city.
Four other members of air defence were injured by the Israeli missiles that targeted the 200s air defence base in Al-Qadmous area in Tartous countryside, coinciding with the attempts of the air defence to stop the Israeli attack, but they failed and the Israeli missiles reached their targets.
SOHR documented 19 attacks in 2023: 15 airstrikes and four rocket attacks by ground forces, during which Israel targeted several positions in Syria, destroying nearly 43 targets, including buildings, weapons and ammunitions warehouses, headquarters, centres and vehicles. These strikes killed 49 combatants and injured 50 others. The fatalities are distributed as follows:

• 18 regime soldiers and officers.

• 18 Iranian-backed non-Syrian militiamen.

• Six members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

• Four Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen.

• Three members of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

In addition, those attacks left a man and a woman dead and other civilians injured.

The attacks are distributed regionally as follows:

• Damascus and Rif Dimashq: seven attacks.

• Al-Quneitera: five attacks.

• Hama: one attack.

• Tartus: two attack.

• Aleppo: three attacks.

• Al-Suwaidaa: three attacks.

• Daraa: two attacks.

• Homs: two attacks.

SOHR would like to point out that Israel sometimes targeted more than one province in a single attack.
