Affected by injury he sustained | Young man dies due to Russian airstrikes on Jisr Al-Shughour in western Idlib countryside

SOHR sources have reported that a young man died affected by the injury he sustained on June 25 due to Russian airstrikes on the vegetable market in Jisr Al-Shughour city in western Idlib countryside within “Putin-Erdogan” area.

 

On June 25  SOHR sources reported that 13 people were killed in airstrikes by Russian fighter jets on the “de-escalation zone”; they are as follows:

 

  • Nine people: six civilians and three combatants, were killed in airstrikes on the outskirts of Jisr Al-Shughour city.

 

  • Two persons: a civilian and a member of the “Turkistan Islamic Party,” were killed in airstrikes on the outskirts of Idlib city.

 

Meanwhile, 30 other people were injured in Jisr Al-Shughour, some seriously.

 

Accordingly, the number of civilians and combatants who have been killed in Russian airstrikes on different positions in the “de-escalation” zone in 2023, precisely since June 24, has risen to 24. In addition, those airstrikes left over 40 people injured.

 

The fatalities are distributed as follows:

 

  • 12 civilians, including two children of the families of “Turkistan Islamic Party” members, were killed in airstrikes on Idlib.

 

  • 12 members of jihadist groups were killed in airstrikes on Idlib.
