Accused of “paying zakat to ISIS and spying for regime forces” | Oil investor arrested by SDF and Coalition in eastern Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that Syrian Democratic Forces and International Coalition Forces carried out a joint airdrop a few hours ago, targeting the house of an oil investor in Jadidat Ekaydat town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The operation led to the arrest of two men, including the oil investor, for “paying zakat to ISIS and spying for regime forces,” and they were taken to a security centre of SDF.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that special security units of SDF conducted a qualitative operation against “ISIS” cells in Al-Dashishah town south of Al-Hasakah, supported by the international coalition, which resulted in the death of two “ISIS” members and the arresting of another who was taken to a security centre of “SDF”

According to SOHR sources, the targeted were involved in assassinations in SDF-held areas and surprise attacks on the military formations related to “SDF” in north-east of Syria. Quantities of weapons and ammunition were also found in their possession during the operation.
