Lured on social media | Gang lures a person and ambush him in Al-Qamishly countryside

Al-Hasakah province: A person was severely injured and taken to the hospital after being chased by an armed gang that lured him on social media under the pretext of selling construction equipment. When he arrived at the destination he was surprised by an ambush by masked people to steal his money in Fatoma Village near Al-Ya’aribiya Town in Al-Qamishly countryside in Al-Hasakah within SDF-held areas.

On July 19, two people impersonating ISIS cells stormed a house in Zaiban Town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside and demanded royalties from its owner, where the owner managed to arrest one of them while the other managed to escape.

According to reliable SOHR sources, both persons had previously demanded the owner of the house to pay 8,000 USDs as royalties for ISIS and they attacked his house after he refused. Meanwhile, dignitaries of the town called the owner of the house to release the arrested person and that they would be responsible for the safety of the house owner.
