It is worth mentioning that the observatory published in the 23rd of August, that the “Islamic state” had blown the temple of Baal Shamin in the ancient city of Palmyra which is controlled by the organization since the 20th of May 2015, it was confirmed that the organization had blown the temple by using large quantities of explosives, where the temple is located a few meters away from the Roman theater, where residents who managed to get out of the city reported to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that bombing the Temple took place about a month from now.
