Torture victim | Young man from Daraa dies under torture in Saydnayah prison

Daraa province: A 32 year-old young man from Tafas city in western Daraa countryside dead under torture in Saydnayah prison.
It is worth noting that the victim was arrested by regime’s security services for unknown reasons.

Saydnayah prison is considered the largest and the worst prison in Syria, it is also known as “ human slaughterhouse” where the detainees are subjected to the most horrific crimes.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of people who have died under torture in regime prisons and security centres since early 2023 has reached 22 , including a regime army defector, a member of the regime’s military security service and a member of a local faction in Al-Suwaidaa.
