Between ground explosion and Israeli attack | Unknown violent explosions hit rocket warehouses of Iranian-backed militias west of Damascus
At dawn today, violent explosions were heard in the capital Damascus and its vicinity, as a result of an explosion in rocket warehouses of the Iranian-backed militias, within a mountainous area west of the capital Damascus. It is still unknown whether the explosions were because of an Israeli attack with a ground-to-ground rocket or a ground explosion. The explosions resulted in material damage and no information about causalities was reported.
On August 7, SOHR reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted several positions hosting warehouses and military posts of Iranian-backed militias north of Damascus. The airstrikes left four regime soldiers and two unidentified persons dead and seven others injured. In addition, the airstrikes destroyed weapons and ammunitions warehouses in the targeted sites.
