Deir Ezzor | Armed clash leaves four injured people in Hajin market in eastern countryside

Deir Ezzor province: Four young men were injured, including serious conditions, in a quarrel erupted during the past hours between two young men, which evolved to an armed infighting between their families, amid an exchange of firing in Hajin market in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, within SDF-held areas, where the injured were taken to the hospitals of Al-Hasakah for treatment.
Accordingly, the number of infightings which followed disputes over retaliation and family and tribal disagreements in areas controlled by the Autonomous Administration has reached 106 since early 2023. According to SOHR statistics, these infightings left 64 people, including five children and four women, dead and 141 others, including eight women and five children, injured; they are distributed regionally as follows:

• Deir Ezzor: 76 infightings left 37 people, including four children and three women, dead and 79 others, including seven women and four children, injured.

• Al-Hasakah: Eight infightings left six persons dead and 13 others injured, including a child and a woman.

• Al-Raqqah: 17 infightings left 15 persons, including a woman and a child dead and 42 others injured.

• Aleppo countryside: Five infightings left six persons dead and seven others injured.
