Military escalation | Turkish forces fire heavy artillery shells on Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces stationed at a base in Jarablus city targeted, with heavy artillery, Boraz village in western Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo countryside. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

This comes as a part of frequent rounds of bombardment by Turkish forces and their proxies on SDF-controlled areas in north-east Syria.

 

On August 28, SOHR sources reported that a regime soldier was killed and two others were injured in Turkish ground shelling on Hawin Base in Al-Furat Village in Manbij countryside eastern of Aleppo, while the injured members were taken to the medical centres.

 

On the same context, Al-Shaikh Ali and Om Al-Kaif Villages in Tel Tamr countryside north western of Al-Hasakah were targeted with a Dushka by Turkish-backed factions stationed in “Peace Spring” area. However, no casualties were reported yet.
