Deir Ezzor | SDF finish combing operation of five towns and villages and release more than 30 persons since cessation of clashes

Deir Ezzor province: Syrian Democratic Forces finished combing and searching operations in the towns and villages of Al-Bubadran, Al-Shaafah, Al-Baqaan, Al-Bukhater and Hajin city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and other areas east of Deir Ezzor, while the combing operation is being completed in Al-Baghoz.
On this context, since the cessation of the clashes. SDF have released at least 30 people whose involvement in the fighting was not proven, including the father of “Abu Khawlah” the former leader of Deir Ezzor Military Council, where they kept him and a number of leaders of the first rank, while investigations are underway with others, amid information about the possibility of their release following the intervention of some tribes’ elders and notables.
The day before yesterday, SDF entered the villages of Abu Hamam, Al-Kishkiyah and Gharanij in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, without resistance by local gunmen and tribesmen, where SDF started combing operations in the three villages.
According to SOHR sources, SDF took back their vehicles which had been seized by the tribal forces during the bloody clashes between the two sides during the past few days.
Meanwhile, tense calm has been prevailing in areas controlled by the Autonomous Administration in Deir Ezzor, along with ongoing combing operations by SDF in the eastern countryside.
Earlier that day, SOHR sources reported that Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have accomplished combing operations in the towns of Al-Jerthi, Al-Jerthi Sharqi, Shenan and Suwaydan in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, amid searching for weapons.
Accordingly, SDF have combed an 15-kilometre-long area since yesterday stretching from Al-Tayyanah town to Al-Jerthi town on Euphrates river’s bank, opposite areas dominated by Iranian-backed militias on the river’s western bank in Deir Ezzor countryside.
