Turkish-backed factions gather to control Al-Hamran Crossing | Turkish forces close crossings and deploy in roads in Aleppo countryside

Turkish-backed factions in northern Aleppo countryside mobilized coinciding with the flight of helicopters over “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive Branch” areas as Al-Sultan Murad Faction controls Al-Hamran Crossing under orders by the Turkish Intelligence.

Meanwhile, HTS and Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement that is affiliated to “Sofan” brought soldiers to the region to retrieve control over the crossing, amid major military gatherings by factions from HTS-held areas.

On the same context, Turkish forces brought military reinforcements and tanks to the checkpoint of Kafr Al-Jenna, and forces deployed in several areas coinciding with the closure of crossings with HTS-held areas.

The area from Jarablus to A’zaz in northern Aleppo countryside within “Euphrates Shield” area witnessed extensive mobilization of factions of the Turkish-backed National Army after HTS brought military convoys under the name of “Al-Shohabaa’ Compound” from Afrin and Marae’ towards Al-Hamran Crossing in an attempt to take control over the crossing. Moreover, members of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” Faction raised earthen berms in Qatma Village between A’zaz and Afrin.

Turkish-backed factions are threatened by the infiltration of HTS in the region to take control of it and of Al-Hamran Crossing.

Yesterday, two members of the “National Army” were injured due to armed clashes between members of “Al-Sultan Murad” Division and members of “Ahrar Al-Sham Movement” in the centre of Azaz city in northern Aleppo countryside within “Euphrates Shield” area.

The injured members were taken to hospitals in Azaz city for treatment, amid heavy deployment of members of “Liwaa Asifat Al-Shamal” in the region to prevent the clashes from recurring.
