Homs | Regime soldier dies of injury he sustained during armed clashes with smugglers

A regime soldier died of the injury he sustained on September 11 due to armed clashes erupted between members of regime forces and an armed group of smugglers supervised by Lebanese Hezbollah in Homs countryside.

It is worth noting that smuggling circles run by the Lebanese Hezbollah are numerous in Homs city and countryside.

On September 11, SOHR sources reported that a member of military intelligence branch was killed and three others were injured due to armed clashes between members of a kidnapping gang in Al-Nazeheen neighbourhood in the centre of Homs city.
The clashes also left two members of the gang dead and four members of the gang were arrested.
