Security chaos in HTS-held areas | Explosion of IED in car leaves person injured in western Idlib countryside

Idlib province: A person sustained various injuries due to the explosion of an IED in a car carrying two people in Al-Zahra town near Darkush in western Idlib countryside within HTS-held area, where he was taken to the hospital for treatment.

This comes in light of ongoing security chaos in HTS-held area.

On September 15, SOHR sources reported that two IEDs exploded in a military vehicle carrying members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, while they were returning from frontlines in the Syrian coastline. The IEDs exploded near Harem in the north-western countryside of Idlib, before clashes erupted between the attackers, members of the so-called “Saraya Dera’ Al-Thawra” (Revolution Shield Battalion), and HTS members.
