Rocket fire | Turkish rocket launchers shell regime military position, leaving five soldiers injured in eastern Manbij

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that five regime soldiers were injured, some seriously, in an attack by rocket launchers of Turkish forces in the early morning on a regime military position in Arab Hassan village which is controlled by “Manbij Military Council Forces” in the eastern countryside of Manbij in eastern Aleppo. The injured soldiers were taken to the hospital.

It is worth noting that frontlines of the eastern countryside of Aleppo have recently experienced noticeable escalation, which is manifested in frequent exchange of fire between Turkish forces and their proxy militias on one hand, and regime forces on the other.

On September 19, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired mortars on the villages of Al-Yashily, Al-Dandaniyah and Al-Farat in Manbij countryside in eastern Aleppo, which are controlled by “Manbij Military Council Forces.” This coincided with clashes between factions of the “National Army” and SDF-backed formations on the frontlines of Al-Hamran and Al-Yashily to the south of Jarabulus city.
