Amid launching security campaign by SDF | Coalition helicopters fly over Deir Ezzor countryside
Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that helicopters of the International Coalition hovered in the airspace of Deir Ezzor countryside, along with firing flares over Al-Zarr village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. Meanwhile, a convoy of Syrian Democratic Forces arrived in the village, where members of the convoy asked residents, via loudspeakers, not to leave their houses.
This coincided with launching a security campaign by SDF in Al-Zarr village, during which members of ISIS cells were arrested.
Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that the Rapid Intervention Forces of SDF arrested three people after storming their house for “being connected with external authorities that work on causing unsettlement of northern of Deir Ezzor area”, while an amount of weapons were confiscated as well.
On September 19, a patrol of the Commandos of SDF stormed houses and searched them in Al-Sho’aitat area in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
Moreover, another patrol stormed houses in Al-Ezba Village in northern Deir Ezzor countryside and arrested several people.
According to reliable SOHR sources, a number of arrested people were arrested for “criticizing the corruption in SDF-held areas.”
Meanwhile, the forces also stormed several towns, Al-Ezba, Kasha, Azman, Ruwaishid, Jinah, Abaya Al-Eid and Shinana Villages which are residential compounds in Al-Dahra between Deir Ezzor and Al-Sawr and Al-Khorafy Road.
