Amid unknown fate of the commander of “NDF” | Regime forces take control of security zone in Al-Hasakah city
Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that regime forces completely took control of the security zone in Al-Hasakah city after heavy clashes between members of National Defence Forces and regime forces, while the fate of pro-Hezbollah commander “Abdullkader Hamo” the commander of the National Defence remains unknown.
Meanwhile, two mortar shells from the security square targeted Al-Omran neighbourhood in western Al-Hasakah, leaving a woman and a little girl were injured in shrapnel.
Similarly, a little girl from Al-Khashman neighbourhood and another one from Al-Salhyah neighbourhood were injured in stray bullets due to clashes between regime forces and members of National Defence Forces.
Earlier today, activists reported hearing successive explosions in the security zone in Al-Hasakah city this dawn, which were caused by bombardment by regime tanks on headquarters of the National Defence Forces. This coincided with violent clashes between regime forces and NDF, amid a state of panic residents, while tension is growing in the area.
The violent clashes comes as a part of attempts by regime forces to force the NDF leader to surrender.
