On 40th consecutive day | Demonstrations in Al-Suwaidaa affirm continuation of uprising calling for freedom and toppling of regime

Al-Suwaidaa province: Today, dozens of demonstrators gathered today in a new demonstration in Al-Sir\Al-Karamah square in the centre of Al-Suwaidaa city, demanding the toppling of the regime, the implementation of their legitimate demands in applying the UN resolution 2254, the improvement of the living situations and releasing detainees, chanting slogans of: “Syria is for us and not for Al-Assad family” and “We only kneel to God”, affirming the importance of the political and peaceful transition of the power. It is noteworthy that Al-Suwaidaa uprising has been continuing for about 40 consecutive days through daily demonstrations.
Yesterday, hundreds of Al-Suwaidaa residents in Shahbaa city in the northern countryside of Al-Suwaidaa, gathered in a demonstration demanding the political transition, releasing the detainees and the implementation of the UN resolution 2254. The demonstrators lifted placards with slogans of: “There is no forever.. long live Syria and down Al-Assad”
