Shiite militiamen steal identity papers and money from merchants in Soq al- Hal in the city of Homs

 

Homs Province:

SOHR knew that a group of militiamen from the Shia sect from the village of al- Mazra’ah stormed Soq al- Hal in the neighborhood of al- Qusour in the city of Homs humiliating the citizens and merchants of Sunni people in the neighborhood and laying them down, where the sources confirmed to SOHR that the militiamen took their identity papers and money. Some citizens, who were in Soq al- Hal, considered that this actions aims to fueling sectarian tension. Some other citizens commented on this accident by saying that the stealing of identity papers was being carrying out by NDF in Hama and Homs  in order to get money.

 

Violent clashes took place between the regime forces and allied militiamen against Jabhat al- Nusra, the rebel and Islamist factions around the city of al- Rastan, information reported casualties on both sides.
