Ongoing oppression | Regime forces arbitrarily arrest two brothers at checkpoint in northern Daraa

Daraa province: Regime soldiers stationed at a makeshift checkpoint near the bridge in Izraa in northern Daraa arbitrarily arrested two brothers from the Bedouin tribes of Al-Lajat. The two brothers, who do not affiliate to any military formations, were taken to a security centre and their fate remains unknown so far.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that members of the Political Security Branch arrested six civilians, while they were passing through one of the military checkpoints of the branch in Ghabagheb town, in Daraa countryside. The arrested people are from Jasim city, while their relatives demanded their release.
