Renewed bombardment | Turkish forces shell positions in SDF-controlled villages and towns in rural Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies bombarded, at dawn, SDF-controlled areas in Al-Hasakah countryside, targeting positions in the centre and surrounding areas of Zarkan town and the villages of Khadrawi, Mushayrifah, Rubay’at, Assadiyah and Popi farm. The bombardment caused material damage only.

 

Meanwhile, frontlines separating SDF-controlled areas from areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions have experienced exchange of artillery fire since yesterday.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that rocket launchers of “Tel Tamr Military Council Forces” fired heat-seeking missiles on a Turkish base in Al-Dawudiyah village to the east of Abu Rasin town in northern Al-Hasakah. However, no casualties were reported.

 

Meanwhile, Turkish forces stationed in military bases in “Peace Spring” area fired three artillery shells on Abu Rasin town, which caused material damage only.
