Amid deployment of American forces | Al-Shaddadi base targeted by drones in southern countryside of Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: During the past hours, explosions were heard in the southern countryside off Al-Hasakah, as a result of a new targeting by Iranian militias drones, launched from the Iraqi territory towards Al-Shaddadi base of the “International Coalition” forces in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah. Smoke columns rose from the base, amid mobilization and deployment of the American forces.
This came hours after the International Coalition forces conducted joint military exercises with live ammunition, at Qasrek and Tel Baider bases, north of Al-Hasakah, to ensure the combat readiness, in conjunction with training at Al-Omar oil field base east of Deir Ezzor, the largest base of the “International Coalition” in Syrian.
During the past few days, Iranian militias carried out attacks against the “International Coalition” forces within their bases in northern and eastern Syria.
Since October 19, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) documented 14 attacks carried out by Iranian-backed militias on Coalition bases; they are distributed as follows:

• Three attacks on Al-Tanf base.

• Four attacks on Al-Omar oil field base.

• Two attacks on Koniko gas field base.

• One attack on the American base in Rubarya in Al-Malikiyah countryside.

• Two attacks on the Kharab Al-Jair base in Al-Rumailan.

• Two attacks on Al-Shaddadi base.
