Al-Suwaidaa uprising three months on | Residents from village in Al-Suwaidaa countryside participate in protest calling for peaceful change in Syria

Al-Suwaidaa province: Tens of people from Sahwah Al-Balatah village in Al-Suwaidaa city went out in a peaceful protest chanting slogans calling for peaceful change and political transition of the power in Syria.

The protesters demanded the implementation of UN Resolution No. 2254, the applying of a political transition of power, the resignation of Bashar Al-Assad and toppling of his regime and the formation of a decentralized national body compresing all segments of Syrian society.

This comes in light of the continuation of the uprising in Al-Suwaidaa city for the third consecutive month.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that residents from Al-Suwaidaa city and surrounding villages headed to Al-Suwaidaa city centre to participate in a mass demonstration which comes as a part of the uprising that is ongoing for the 79th consecutive day.

The protestors called for supporting Gaza, toppling the Syrian regime, releasing detainees, implementing the Resolution No. 2254, applying peaceful transition of power and forming a national and decentralized body comprising all segments of Syrian society.
