13 cargo planes and helicopters arrive in the US base since mid-October | Cargo plane lands in Kharab Al-Jir base in northern Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that a grand cargo plane land today at 10:00 am in the US base of Kharab Al-Jir in Rumaylan countryside in northern Al-Hasakah. The plane carried military reinforcement and logistical supplies.


Kharab Al-Jir base has recently experienced noticeable escalation of landings and take-offs by US helicopters.


Since the beginning of military escalation by Iranian-backed militias on US bases in Syria and the beginning of Israel’s brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip in mid-October, US forces in Syria brought in 13 cargo planes and helicopters carrying military reinforcement, all landed in Kharab Al-Jir base in Al-Hasakah.


Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that three cargo helicopters carrying military and logistical supplies in a US military base in north-east Syria, where a helicopter landed in the US base in Kharab Al-Jir village in Al-Hasakah countryside. This coincided with flights by fighter jets of the International Coalition to guard the helicopter. Meanwhile, a part of the helicopter’s shipment was transported to Al-Jabsah residences in Al-Shaddadi city in southern Al-Hasakah.


Earlier this morning, SOHR activists reported hearing successive explosions in Al-Hasakah countryside, which were caused by live-fire exercises by the US-led International Coalition Forces in Tel Baydar base for raising combat capabilities of the US troops stationed in the base.


The explosions coincided with flights by International Coalition fighter jets over the region.
