Ongoing escalation | Turkish forces shell two villages controlled by “Manbij Military Council” in rural Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions, stationed in the Turkish base in Sheikh Nasser village in “Euphrates Shield” area, shelled positions in Arab Saied and Yalanly villages, which are controlled by “Manbij Military Council Forces,” in the northern and north-western countryside of Manbij. No casualties have been reported.


Frontlines separating areas controlled by “Manbij Military Council Forces” from areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions experience frequent exchange of attacks and infiltration operations.


On November 28, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces stationed in Shikh Nasir base and  “Euphrates Shield” area fired artillery shells on Al-Arymah village in Al-Sajour area and Al-Sayadah and Al-Dandanah villages in Manbij countryside in eastern Aleppo countryside.


Meanwhile, Manbij Military Council reacted by targeting positions of Turkish forces within “Euphrates Shield” area, but no casualties were reported.
