Ongoing uprising in Al-Suwaidaa | Dozens of people staged sit-in protest calling for toppling Syrian regime

Al-Suwaidaa province: Dozens of people from Al-Suwaidaa villages and towns flocked to the square of “Sultan Basha Al-Atrash” in Al-Qaryah village to participate in a sit-in protest, demanding the overthrow of the head of the Syrian regime, applying political transition of power, the implementation of UN Resolution No. 2254 and the unity of the Syrians people.


Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that tens of residents gathered in Al-Karamah square in Al-Suwaidaa city centre, where they staged a peaceful demonstration stressing the continuity of the uprising in Al-Suwaidaa.


The demonstrators called for toppling the president of the Syrian regime, applying political transition of power and implementing the International Resolution No. 2254.


The protestors also lifted placards with slogans written on them affirming the continuity of the demonstrations until fulfilling their legitimate demands.
