Daraa | Eight security operations leave 13 people kil*led in six days

SOHR activists have documented eight operations in Daraa City in less than a week, where 13 people were killed.

The details are as follows:

On December 1: A young man died affected by his wounds in a hospital in the capital Damascus, where he was injured in clashes that erupted after the death of a media activist on November 10, in Ma’araba Town in eastern Daraa countryside.

On December 1: A non-commissioned officer ranked “first assistant” was injured after being shot by unidentified gunmen in Qarfa Town in middle Daraa countryside, where the targeted officer is accused of “harassing and committing violations against residents of the town.”

On December 2: Lebanese forces opened fire directly on a “van” carrying a young man, killing him near Syria-Lebanon border. It is worth noting that the victim was attempting to cross Lebanon through routes used for smuggling and hailed from Al-Shajarah town in Hawd Al-Yarmok area in western Daraa countryside.

On December 3: Residents found the body of a young man, showing signs of torture and drenched in blood and dumped in the area between Al-Taibah and Al-Mataiyah towns in Daraa countryside, two days after he was kidnapped.

On December 3: A member of a local faction died in Tafs Hospital, affected by the wounds he sustained after being shot by unidentified gunmen on the road in Tafs City in western Daraa countryside.

On December 5: A regime soldier was killed and another was injured in IED explosion in area between Daraa and Al-Qonaitara.

On December 5: A young man died affected by the wounds he sustained in clashes with light and medium weapons between two families in Jassin City in northern Daraa countryside.

On December 5: A recruit of the regime forces, who is accused of “drug dealing”, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Mahja Town in northern Daraa countryside.

On December 5: An officer ranked lieutenant died in hospitals of Al-Sanmin City in Daraa countryside affected by the wounds he sustained, when unidentified gunmen attacked a military vehicle carrying members of the General Intelligence Administration “State Security” on the road between Jassim and Inkhil Cities in northern Daraa countryside, raising the number of people killed to five.

On December 6: A gang executed a civilian from Tafs City a few days after kidnapping him, where his body was found dumped between Nahj and Al-Yadouda Towns western of Daraa.
