Manbij | Family disagreements leads to clashes among members of “Manbij Military Council”

Aleppo province: A commander in “Manbij Military Council” sustained serious injuries during clashes with machineguns with his relatives following family disagreements in Al-Hazawnah neighbourhood in Manbij city in eastern Aleppo.

 

Accordingly, the number of infightings which followed disputes over retaliation and family and tribal disagreements in areas controlled by the Autonomous Administration has reached 122 since early 2023. According to SOHR statistics, these infightings left 81 people, including seven children and four women, dead and 152 others, including eight women and five children, injured; they are distributed regionally as follows:

 

  • Deir Ezzor: 85 infightings left 46 people, including six children and three women, dead and 91 others, including seven woman and four children, injured.

 

  • Al-Hasakah: Ten infightings left nine persons dead and 13 others injured, including a child and a woman.

 

  • Al-Raqqah: 21 infightings left 20 persons, including a woman and a little girl, dead 42 others injured.

 

  • Aleppo countryside: Six infightings left six persons dead and seven others injured.
